Guangzhou Port Nansha Port Area Series of Projects
Since 2000, as the Guangzhou port is getting more competitiveness and the urban space is expanded rapidly, CCCC-FHDI has put forward the development concept of "Greater Nansha", and planned the world-class container terminals of Nansha Port, which have been developed in four phases from Phase I to Phase IV, including 20 container berths for 100,000DWT container vessels, 46 berths for 2,000DWT barges, and 5 berths for 3,000DWT barges. Among the terminals, the fully automated container terminal constructed in Phase IV development of Nansha Port with the so called "Guangzhou Solution" initiated by FHDI for fully automated terminal, provides exemplary solutions for the automation upgrading and transformation of traditional terminals around the world. It has won one Tien- yow Jeme Civil Engineering Prize, two National Quality Engineering Silver Awards and one National Excellent Engineering Survey and Design Silver Award.
