Gwadar Deep Water Port Phase I, Pakistan
This project is located in Gwadar City, Baluchistan Province, Pakistan, and the main construction content includes three multi-purpose berths including for ro-ro cargos. The designed throughput capacity is 100,000 TEU/year and 720,000 tons of general cargo and bulk grain/year. The structure of the terminal is designed for accommodating up to 50,000DWTcontainer ship, with a total length of 702 meters, and adopts prestressed beams and slabs supported on piles structure. This project is the largest and most far-reaching port project among China's aid projects, and won the 2009 Luban Prize for China's Construction Projects (Overseas Projects).
