Supporting Wharf and sea water Intake / discharge Facility Project for Shenhua Guohua Indonesia Java No.7 2×1050MW Coal-fired Power Generation Project
This project is located in the city of Cilang, Banten Province, Java, Indonesia, approximately 100 kilometers east of Jakarta, and the main purpose of this project is for the transportation of heavy equipment required for the JAWA-7 power plant during construction stage, and coal supplying during operation stage, as well as for the intake and discharge facilities of seawater cooling system. The construction includes a coal jetty, a heavy cargo jetty, an approach bridge and embankment, a revetment, a nullah and diversion embankment for intaking and discharging of cooling seawater, a sand barrier embankment, ancillary navigational aids, and relevant electromechanical facilities. This project was awarded the Gold Medal for Coal Power Projects by the Asian Electric Power Association and the Gold Medal for National Quality Engineering in China.
