Sino-Kuwait JV Guangdong Integrated Refinery Petrochemical Project
A total of 11 berths in the first phase of the project, including one 300,000DWT crude oil berth, one 100,000DWT refined oil berth, one 70,000DWT bulk cargo berth and other types of liquid and solid cargo berths, total 8 workboat berths and ro-ro berths, with a total length of nearly 3 kilometers of the port shoreline and a length of about 5 kilometers revetment, the annual design capacity is more than 34 million tons;
It took 12 years from the start of the project in 2008 to the completion and commissioning in 2020. For these terminals (including wharf, water and land area, shore protection, cofferdams, access roads, etc.), CCCC FHDI has entirely participated in the works such as comprehensive site selection, preliminary study, planning revision, engineering feasibility study, overall design, preliminary design, basic design and other relevant studies, as well as all the investigation works for up to detailed design. Moreover, FHDI is also the EPC contractor responsible for the subsequent construction of 8 berths along the shoreline and 2 offshore berths as well as the associated works in the land area.
