Public Fill Disposal Works for Bid 3206 for the Third Runway Project at the Hong Kong International Airport
The project is located at the north side of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), which is an important sub-project of HKIA third runway section 3206. The main content includes screening and sorting of construction waste in the public fill banks at Tseung Kwan O Area 137 and Tuen Mun Area 38; and delivering the screened and qualified materials to the construction site of the third runway project of HKIA for backfilling and roiling compaction by marine transportation. CCCC-FHDI undertook the fill testing and foundation inspection for the project, adopting Hong Kong, European and American standards, and utilizing advanced equipment such as Geomil's land-based CPT equipment for the construction work.
