The project is located in Quanwan Port Area, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, with a construction area of 115,000 square meters, total coal storage capacity of about 1.02 million tons, and two coal yards with mesh shell roof at 43.7m elevation and the plan dimensions for each yard is 500m x 118m. The project adopts advanced technologies such as double-layer three-center cylindrical mesh shell structure with 1/4 spherical shell at the end, new separated direct-connected vacuum pre-pressurized foundation treatment technology, advanced typhoon resistant design, and detachable structure. It won the First Prize of Excellent Industrial Building Design of Architectural Society of China and Gold Prize of China Steel Structure.
