CCCC-FHDI has a comprehensive Class A qualification in engineering design, and can undertake the design business of construction projects in all 21 industries, including water transportation, highways, municipal engineering, oil and gas (offshore oil), construction, water conservancy, ocean, electronic communication and broadcasting industry, and nuclear industry.

Carrying nearly 60 years of technological accumulation, the design business of CCCC-FHDI covers comprehensive transportation fields (water transportation, highways, geotechnical engineering, rail, airports, etc.), urban fields (urban comprehensive development, municipal engineering, construction, etc.), green energy fields (LNG terminals, nuclear power marine engineering, offshore wind power, etc.), marine engineering fields, ecological and environmental protection fields (environment and water conservancy, sewage treatment, watershed governance), and empowers new infrastructure design with intelligence.

CCCC-FHDI has a strong team of design talents, with 2 national level survey and design masters and 10 experts enjoying special government allowances; 812 people with various registered qualifications, covering 28 categories; 29 international qualification certificates and over 300 certified personnel with IPMP international project management professional qualifications; 97% of employees hold a bachelor's degree or above, and 62% hold a senior professional title or above.

Since its establishment, CCCC-FHDI has completed over 2000 large-scale engineering projects both domestically and internationally, and has constructed a number of design projects with international advanced levels.
